Business Development Manager (m/f/d)



The rising significance of online sales, data explosion in the retail industry and the emergence of machine learning technology have led to a surge in demand for optimization and automation technology. The Coronavirus crisis has been an additional catalyst of these trends.

7Learnings is a leading B2B SaaS company with the goal of advancing automation and optimization in retail. Today, with our predictive pricing software, retailers can optimize prices and radically simplify their pricing processes. Our customers include leading European retailers such as ABOUT YOU, Mister Spex and reBuy. 

As Business Development Manager, you will identify, analyze and execute opportunities to push our growth further. The role demands flexibility. Topics range from planning and executing lead generation strategies as well as building strategic partnerships.

What we need your skills for:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the business and the industry by performing a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analyses
  • Further development of our sales and marketing function
  • Develop a state-of-the-art Growth KPI framework and dashboard and use it to track and optimize performance
  • Experiment to fuel our growth: continuously trial new approaches and try out new inbound and outbound channels to address our target audience 
  • Take responsibility for our sales and marketing partnerships with other companies and continuously expand them
  • Ensure a successful project implementation by coordinating closely with the 7Learnings founder team and C-level executives

What we are looking for

  • First experience in business analysis and/or project management from top tier companies in business development, consulting, investment banking or venture-capital
  • Extremely proactive, self-starter mentality with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in an sometimes unstructured and often fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding analytical skills, structured way of thinking and attention to details
  • Bachelor or Master of top-tier university and excellent English skills – good German language skills are a plus)
