Business Development Manager (m/f/d)



The rising significance of online sales is increasing competition and transparency in the retail industry. If retailers, producers and brands want to avoid a dilution of their margins, they need to upgrade their optimization capabilities. 7Learnings is a leading software company with the goal of advancing automation and optimization in retail. Today, with our predictive pricing software, retailers can optimize prices and radically simplify their pricing processes. Our customers include leading European retailers such as ABOUT YOU, Mister Spex and reBuy. 

As Business Development Manager, your main goal will be to accelerate our growth. You will be responsible for planning and executing lead generation strategies, and you will implement your campaigns tandem with our marketing and sales team.

What we need your skills for:

  • Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to identify and generate demand with ongoing feedback loops
  • Further development of our sales and marketing function
  • Develop a state-of-the-art Growth KPI framework and dashboard and use it to track and optimize performance
  • Experiment to fuel our growth: continuously trial new approaches and try out new inbound and outbound channels to address our target audience 
  • You will take responsibility for our sales and marketing partnerships with other companies and continuously expand them

What we are looking for

  • A natural networker and effective communicator with the ability to persuade your counterparts
  • Successfully completed studies in business administration, marketing, industrial engineering or have a comparable training
  • A highly analytical mindset – comfortable with numbers, output-oriented 
  • Excellent English skills, ideally good German skills
  • Ideally, you are familiar with state-of-the art lead generation and marketing tools (Google Analytics, Hubspot)
